Sileby Arabians is a small stud Situated 30minutes from Perth in Orange Grove at the base of the Darling Scarp.
My passion for Arabians began at the young age of 7yo with my first horse, a 2yo Arabian Filly Rashima Ab-Nejma. We formed a unique bond that saw us achieve great success. Abby (Rashima Ab-Nejma) was seen as the perfect horse in my eyes and firmly installed a love of the Arabian breed.
The aim of the stud is to breed Arabians that are athletic, good natured and highly trainable, true to the classic Arabian standards (Not following fads or fashion) and with undeniable beauty. While I tend to personally prefer the performance fields of Endurance, Dressage, Showjumping and others, we aim to breed Arabians that will excel in ALL disciplines, ridden and non ridden.
Our mares are all broken to saddle and need to prove themselves in the performance ring before becoming broodmares, You can view their achievements in the mares section. Due to this our broodmares are few and far between but are of outstanding proven quality.
While our Bloodlines are Crabbet and Naadirah based, we look at the horse as a whole and not just at the pedigree. Variety is the spice of life and a splash of Egyptian with a splash of Crabbet can produce a lovely horse.
We are also Barefoot enthusiasts and have been competing barefoot in endurance since 2005, with many wins and best conditions over distances up to and including 160km. Our horses are raised barefoot and barefoot trimmed from birth ensuring perfect, sound, rock crunching hooves.
